Night of Champions Banquet Set for Top Runners at Canandaigua and Cayuga County Fair Speedways 

Rolling Wheels Sportsman Modifieds Also Honored

With the 2008 Central New York racing season now in the books, attention moves to banquet season.  This year the Canandaigua, Rolling Wheels, and Cayuga County Speedway’s Night of Champions will be taking place at the Chancellor Ballroom at the Holiday Inn of Waterloo, located at 2468 Route 414 in Waterloo, NY on Saturday, November 22.

The evening will kick-off with a reception and cocktails at 5:30pm, followed with the awards ceremonies right away at 6:30pm. 

The 2008 Night of Champions will honor the championship efforts of those in the DIRTcar Big-Block Modified, Sportsman Modified, Street Stocks, Pure Stox, and BattleKarz divisions at the Canandaigua and Cayuga County Fair Speedways.  The Rolling Wheels Raceway Sportsman Modifieds will also be honored during the evening. 

Seating for the night is available in groups of 10, at $35 per person and will be limited to the first 350 guests.   

Tickets must be purchased by November 14 as they will not be made available at the door.  Purchases can be made with cash, check, or a Visa/Mastercard.  Please make all checks payable to “DIRTcar Racing” and send them to DIRTcar Northeast, P.O. Box 240, Weedsport, NY 13166. 

The night’s menu selection will include a choice of Chicken or Roast Sirloin of Beef.  Please indicate on your ticket purchase which selection you would like, as well as the others in your party.  Also be sure to indicate the names of all other party members. 

Keep in mind, in order for a team to receive awards and point fund checks they must be present at the banquet, with appropriate dress required (no jeans or t-shirts).
